This Privacy Policy describes how FeedX ("FeedX," "we," "us," or "our") processes information when a Shopify merchant installs or uses FeedX Smart Related Products (the "App") or visits this website.
For store information processed to provide the App, the merchant determines why the information is processed and FeedX acts as a service provider or processor on the merchant's behalf.
2. Information we process
Merchant and store information
When the App is installed, Shopify provides the store domain, authorization credentials, and granted access scopes needed to connect the App. We store recommendation settings, section positions, product-source rules, layout choices, fallback configuration, and technical status information.
Product, collection, and article information
The App processes product identifiers, titles, handles, images, prices, availability, product tags, collection identifiers, and blog article tags needed to select and display recommendations.
It does not require customer identity profiles to match products with blog article content.
Website and support information
Our website uses the technical information needed to deliver pages securely. If you contact support, we process the contact details and message content you provide so we can respond.
3. How we use information
We process information only as needed to:
- authenticate the merchant and connect securely to Shopify;
- save recommendation sections and storefront presentation settings;
- select products from tags, collections, and configured fallback sources;
- render product recommendations on eligible blog articles;
- secure, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the App;
- provide support and comply with Shopify platform requirements.
5. Retention and deletion
Merchant authorization data and recommendation configuration are retained while the App is installed and as needed to provide the service. When the App is uninstalled or Shopify sends a valid shop-redaction request, the active shop record and related configuration are deleted, subject to limited backup and legal retention requirements.
6. Security
We use encrypted network connections, access controls, production environment restrictions, monitoring, and protected storage and backup practices designed to reduce risk. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
7. Privacy rights and requests
Depending on location, individuals may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability. Shopify customers should normally submit a request to the merchant with whom they interacted.
